VICTORIA MAGNIANT

After graduating in graphic design from St Martin’s

School of Art in London in 2002, Victoria Magniant

began her career in the luxury goods industry before

becoming a designer of high-end furniture. She sees

each object as a sculpture, with an approach that

is both sensitive and minimalist. Her research into

wood, metal and glass has led her to make materials

ever more expressive. When she chooses a material,

she is also defending a culture, a knowledge and a

craft ethic. Victoria loves revealing the raw beauty of

materials and highlighting exceptional skills through

unique finishes.

Victoria Magniant won the Découverte prize at Maison

& Objet and the VIA label in 2015. She has also won

international recognition in a number of competitions

for the most influential designers. In 2021, she was

selected by AD magazine as one of the top 100

designers of the year.

STUDIO VM

Victoria Magniant holds the work of craftspeople

in high esteem, and places their expertise at

the heart of her designs. For the designer, her

collaborations only make sense if they are built

around a shared harmony between the skills of

each . From the imagination to the installation,

her design work can only be conceived

in an ecosystem nourished by encounters with

outstanding craftspeople. Victoria Magniant has

won over a clientele of design enthusiasts who

respect the values she conveys.

In 2015, she took over the Galerie Vivienne with

its showroom, located in the heart of the 2nd

arrondissement, in a district resolutely focused on

creativity.

Accompanied by her team of designers, Victoria

conducts bold experiments here, designing and

shaping the furniture of tomorrow. It’s a privileged

space dedicated to artistic expression, open to all,

where even customers are invited to participate.

In this way, Galerie V has become a veritable

catalyst for this collaborative creative process,

which helps to promote the creative ethic that is

so dear to her heart.
