KI PEDESTAL
The Ki pedestal is inspired by the Japanese technique of Yakisugi (burnt wood), and the deliberately pared-down design highlights the materiality of the wood. The work on the end-wood top reveals a real pattern. Inspired by the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, this pedestal is designed to embellish with the passage of time.
The uniqueness of this collection was born from the meeting between Thomas Lebécel and Victoria Magniant. She explains that she has always been captivated by the cabinetmaker's achievements, his sophisticated assemblies and his particular talent for matching the woods together. In an approach that respects the material and the expertise of the craftsman, Victoria Magniant has designed this collection that is both minimalist and infinitely sophisticated.
