The designer Victoria Magniant and the cabinetmaker Thomas Lebécel engage in a dialogue between their worlds through the coffee table KI. Playing on assemblies of grain wood (cut in the direction of the grain) and end-grain wood (cut perpendicularly) and with the Japanese technique of Yakisugi which slightly fossilizes the surface of the material, the wood is transformed and takes on an almost mineral appearance.
