Victoria Magniant and Claire Pegis have combined their worlds to explore the infinite possibilities of glass, playing with layering, textures, transparency, and reflections. At the heart of their creation, oxides are integrated into the glass to diffuse a soft white light. Sand is projected to mattify the outer surface, accentuating the contrast with the transparent and smooth edge, which reveals a multitude of oxygen bubbles captured during the glass fusion. On the edge, a beveled cut made with a diamond diffracts the rays to create a luminous halo, giving a lightness to the material that appears to float in space. The *Stella* wall sconce is a poetic conversation between glass and light, inspired by celestial bodies, adding a narrative dimension to the material.
